Joseph Rogers is a contemporary composer, currently residing in New Hampshire. His music embraces the modernist techniques and aesthetics of the twentieth century, while maintaining appropriate accessibility for contemporary listeners. His works have been performed across the United States by numerous soloists and ensembles, including Earplay and the Conductor’s Institute Orchestra. He studied composition with Ronald Caltabiano and Richard Festinger, piano with Victoria Neve, and conducting with Harold Farberman and Eduardo Navega. Previously, the composer was an active San Francisco-based producer/performer of electronic music as J.Rogers, affiliated with Blipswitch Digital and Surya Dub. He’s given performances all over the Western United States, and collaborated with artists such as Alland Byallo, Eskmo, Kush Arora, Antiserum, and more.
